We have performed bearing edge re-cutting services on just about every major brand of drums, with great results! Most drum companies don’t take the necessary time to cut bearing edges well. As a result, their drums don’t tune easily and lack clear tone. Not only is the bearing edge design/contour important, but also the quality with which the edges are cut and polished.

Bearing edges are the contours (angle or round) cut at the edges of the drum shell. The bearing edge is where the drum head “bears”, or makes contact with the drum shell. The style and quality of the bearing edge has a great effect on the sound of the drum. We can accommodate just about any bearing edge request.
Shipping Your Drum
Please include a note containing your contact information and general instructions on what you would like us to do.
As of February 1, 2019, there will be a bench fee of $20 for repairs on drums that customers send to us. This is for behind-the-scenes labor involved when handling repair jobs. Fee is per box, when more than one shell is included.
When shipping your drums, pack them carefully using crumpled newspapers or packing materials to cushion drums. Nesting drums, one inside the other (where possible) using newspapers or cardboard between shells, is recommended to keep the shipping boxes as small as possible.
Be sure to insure your drums for their value.
If you are within driving distance of our facility, you may wish to bring us your drums in person. Please call us before coming.
TERMS: Minimum of 50% deposit with order, balance to be paid before shipment. VISA, MasterCard, Discover, Paypal, and money orders acceptable as payment. Contact us for shipping charge estimate.
