To obtain long-lasting quality, it is important to use the correct adhesive.
3M (30-NF, FASTBOND, Neutral) Contact Cement is the recommended adhesive. You may be able to purchase it in a local hardware store. Or, you may purchase a quart of 3M 30-NF from us. One quart will do at least a five piece drum set.
Note: using any other adhesive products will void our results guarantee.

Most drum wrap orders are shipped within two days of receipt of payment. Occasionally colors are out of stock and will be backordered.
Drum wraps will be rolled into a cardboard box or tube and shipped to you by UPS. When you receive the wrap, unroll it and lay flat until you are ready to recover your drums.
To request a price quote or place an order, you may phone us toll free at 1-888-512-3786 (in the US) or 845-635-9820. You may also use the quote/order form below. Before doing so, choose a color from the charts above. You will be asked to list your drum sizes. Always list drum sizes as Depth x Diameter.
Drum wraps may be ordered in full sheets or precut to your drums sizes. When ordering full sheets online, just type “full sheet” with a quantity in the “drum sizes” field.
Be careful when calculating the number of sheets required to cover your drums. We recommend allowing 1/2” extra material in depth, and 2” in length. Remember, the length of the wrap is equal to the circumference of the drum:
Circumference = Diameter x 3.14

Drum wrap colors and patterns may vary from one “batch” to another, as part of the manufacturers tolerance. If close matching of color or pattern is necessary, please be sure you request a sample swatch of our current wrap material. If you are planning on building or recovering drums one at a time, we suggest purchasing all the wraps together so they are guaranteed to match.
Drums with a diameter larger than 16” will require more than one piece of wrap to cover the drum - creating two seams. Wraps will be cut so that seams will be positioned as close to the bottom of the shell as possible. If seam locations are important to you, please contact us, as wraps may need to be cut differently and at a higher cost.
Pre-cut wraps are provided with 1/2” extra depth and 2” extra length unless otherwise requested by customer.
Glass glitter wraps are extremely brittle, and must be handled with extra care. Precision Drum Company will not take responsibility for any breakage while working with wraps.
Some of the pearl wraps shrink slightly over time. This can result in the wrap seams lifting - a condition that can easily be repaired.
Drum wraps should not be exposed to long periods of direct sunlight. Dark colors like black gloss, black diamond pearl, and charcoal may bubble as a result.
Colors may become discontinued without notice.
When using a paint/finish remover like “Zipstrip” to remove old glue from drum shells, wait at least 24 hours before applying the new glue and wrap.
Drum wraps should be adhered to drum shells using 3M 30-NF contact cement. You may be able to find it in your local hardware store, or purchase it from us. One quart will cover a five piece kit or more. Note: using any other adhesive products will void our results guarantee.
Custom wraps usually take 4-8 weeks for delivery.
